design your ideal work experience & legacy

What do you think when you hear the phrase “liberate your work”?

Do you think being able to work remotely?

Do you think it means having the ultimate flexible schedule?

Do you think it means quitting your job to become an entrepreneur?

Liberating your work is none of these things.

Furthermore, it’s the key to helping you get paid to be yourself in many different places and spaces.

In this episode, I introduce the concept and invite former guest Sawida Kamara (from Episode 34 “Feeling Your Way to Your Next Job”) to help us unpack what it looks like in practical terms.

We discuss:

  • Your work and who really owns it

  • The importance of being clear about and articulating the impact of your work

  • The nuances of liberating your work from your employer vs liberating yourself from your job

This episode lays the foundation for Episode 57 where I’ll help you understand how to “Build and Diversify Your Work Portfolio”.
