I’m back my Creating Maven and I’ve got one question for you.
Are you brave enough to lose sight of your shore?
This is the question I’ve been wrestling with over the past few months and it’s a generous one that keeps on giving!
If like me, you feel the call to leave the safe and familiar in your life so that you can cross the unknown ocean of new possibilities then this episode is for you!
I share the lessons I’ve learned over the past few months of my hiatus.
Lessons inspired by the 2015 Pacific Ocean crossing of four women in a rowboat.
These lessons are:
You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.
Life is here to live and not just to exist.
We’re all going to find that we have our own Pacific Ocean to cross.
Life is mostly “journey” and very little destination.
Our ‘doldrums’ can offer us something if we’re willing to look at them in a new way
Are you wondering what your shore is?
Your shore is anything and everything that’s familiar to you. The things that have become your security blanket and that are holding you back from listening to the call of your ocean.
In this episode and beyond I’m back to share more about all the ways you can create in your life. But first…courage!
Going forward I’ll continue to help you see how you can create products, services, experiences, and projects through solo episodes and the wisdom that our guests will share.
Reframe to Create is still on it folks!
We’re also going to keep going into not just what we’re doing and creating but how we’re doing it. How we are moving through our creating and life in a way that keeps life and living at the center.
It’s great to be back and I hope this episode helps you reinvigorate your creating journey!
