I have a confession to make.

Even though I help others get reframes all day long and help them navigate through some of life’s toughest transitions using a new narrative, a new perspective, and a new story–I suck at my own transitions!

I know I know, physician heal thyself!

Well, that’s what I’m doing in this episode with my guest Carol Cox who is someone I know to be great at learning to pivot and ride the many waves of change we’ve all experienced over the past few years.

Carol Cox is the founder and CEO of Speaking Your Brand®,  a coaching and training company that helps high-performing, purpose-driven women entrepreneurs and professionals create their signature talks and thought leadership platforms.  But this is not where her story started. She’s had many career and business changes that have given her some great insights and important tools for navigating transitions.  She wasn’t holding back on sharing these with us.

We talk about a lot in this episode including:

  • How observing patterns can help us anticipate and navigate change better

  • How learning to experiment more can strengthen our muscles in this area

  • How pivots can be less about making sharp turns and more about going deeper into what you have to offer

  • How to make peace with the fact that you’re multi-passionate by understanding your throughline

If you’re also struggling to be better at navigating through transitions you’re going to really enjoy what we uncover in this conversation.
